I started making these figures as a creative outlet. The first one was made in 2017. There’s no planning or message. They usually reveal themselves as I start to work with the materials. I use newspaper, masking tape, tin foil, armature wire, and floral wire for these additive sculptures. They are coated with traditional heated flour and water paste and torn coffee filters.
